No. You can book directly through Headway or reach out about self-pay. No referral from a primary care provider is needed.

Both. Rebecca provides individual therapy as well as psychiatric medication management. You can see her for therapy only, medication management only, or both. Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and can be as often as weekly, and many patients combine therapy with medication. You’ll decide together what fits.

Through Headway, Rebecca is in-network with plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, Regence BlueShield of Idaho, Carelon, and Quest Behavioral Health. Headway shows your exact cost before you book. Self-pay is also welcome.

All appointments are telehealth (secure video). You must be physically located in Idaho or Oregon at the time of each visit, where Rebecca is licensed.

Yes. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), Rebecca can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in both Idaho and Oregon, in line with state and federal rules.

Both diagnose and treat mental health conditions and prescribe medication. A PMHNP is an advanced practice nurse with graduate training and board certification in psychiatry. Many patients appreciate the holistic, whole-person approach and the time for conversation that nursing training emphasizes.

Your first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, usually about 60 minutes by video. Rebecca will ask about your current symptoms, history, medications, physical health, family history, and goals. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what may be going on and a plan you’ve agreed to.

It depends on your plan. Therapy sessions are 50 minutes, often weekly or every other week. Medication check-ins are usually every 2–6 weeks while starting or adjusting medication, then every 1–3 months once you’re feeling stable, and typically last 20–30 minutes. If you do both, Rebecca will help you find a rhythm that fits your week.

Yes. Rebecca sees patients ages 12 and up, from teens through older adults. For patients under 18, a parent or guardian provides consent and usually joins part of the first visit. She doesn’t see children under 12, but she’s happy to point you toward the right resources.

Controlled medications are considered carefully, case by case, after a thorough evaluation and only when clinically appropriate and permitted under current federal and state telehealth rules. Non-controlled options are often discussed first.
